Amazing coffee. We were in Hawaii on vacation and took the tour of the facility. Small family owned operation with knowledgable staff. I’ve never been overly picky about coffee. I’ve drank foldgers for years. One cup of Kona Joe and I can’t drink Folgers now. I know a few coffee lovers who are going to be getting some Kona Joe for Christmas.

Actually, This coffee is not good its awesome. The most flavorful and tastiest Darker roast coffee I have ever had. It replaces the coffee shop coffees that are basically the best I can get around here. I have bought Kona type coffees befoer only to find out they were excessively blended bitter tasting trash. This Kona coffee thou has the taste without that bitter cheapened too many sub-products that I have tried before.

I know Chris Malec, so I read his review with interest. I must tell you that he is not right in the head, and generally as nutty as a fruitbat. In THIS case however, he is correct. I got the same gift pack from a friend, and my kids made it for me for the first time on fathers day. I am now addicted. I typically choose dark roast Gevalia or similar, this Kona is incredibly rich, smooth, and delicious. Fruity notes on top of a dark rich base impressed me, the roast was perfect with no bitter or off notes at all. I got out my better press pot for this one! I have paid more for coffee than this, and still like some other varieties, but I can’t say I’ve had a better cup of coffee. Take it from me, not from a twisted goon like my friend Chris…

Yes, you pay a premium price for Kona coffee but once I tried it I understand why. The first thing I noticed was how pretty and consistent the beans were. I never seen that in any beans I bought before. Then the taste is also something I never expirenced before in any coffee. Bold yet smooth. Love it and a Kona coffee drinker for life.
